Not sure if this is the right place, but will take a stab at it.

I'm new to the world of XP. Very new! I've started a list of 'different things than in win98' and have been able to find a lot of them on-line, but this one has me, and my tech person, stumped. My printer tech person says it's not their call.

When I want to print a graphic from one of my folders a PHOTO PRINTING WIZARD (no special brand name listed) pops up and runs me through different things as if I had chosen an actual photo to print, which I hadn't. I don't like this. It never happened that way with win98. In there I would just click print and my regular printer window would pop up for it's usual selection choices. If I bring the pic up via my Irfanview it prints right from my printer as it should. Is this an XP thing? The tech guy said that it was something new they loaded on the pc, but we can't find it listed anywhere so I can disable that feature. Any ideas out there???? Am I nuts? Am I imagining things? At the time I tried printing this pic I hadn't had my digital software loaded yet, so you can't say it was bringing that up. Besides, it's different than what has been happening.

Totally stumped here. Can't seem to find this answer in the search in here or in another XP help place. Hope that someone else here has the same problem and help me.

    Thanks!!!!

    :)

Is this one a stumper? No body knows nuttin' about this one?
I'll give this a few more days and then I'll holler at tech support again. Just wanted to see if there were any other options out there.

    Thanks.....

    :)
