A friend phoned to say the Photo's he is receiving via 'attachments' are too large, he can see only a portion of the image and cannot print the images.
I believe he still has XP, if not it will be W7, I doubt he has PDF. I would think the download takes a long time. He is in Malaysia at the moment , reception can be dodgy sometimes, would this be a contribution.

Hi Spanner. You could use a program such as Microsoft Paint or Microsoft Office Picture Manager to reduce the size of the image so that it is able to print. That may be a good alternative.

Are these pictures being sent to his e-mail address by a smartphone or is he getting these pictures online himself and then sending them to his e-mail?

I'm a little confused; I've yet to see a photo that I could not print no matter how big it was, although I have a few images that are bigger than the screen (if shown in their native resolution). Windows Photo Viewer gives you the option to view the image full scale, or screen size (best fit).

If he cannot print the image then he needs to set the printer options to scale the image to the page.
