Photo Programs Affected

Hi,
Three of my photo programs are not working: HP Photo Smart Printing: Error message: 1) uses CTL3D32.dll which is not the correct version and 2) Invalid page fault in module KERNEL 32.DLL at 0167:bff9db61

Adobe Photo Deluxe 3.1

The Shell 32 DLL file is linked to missing export SHLWAPI.DLL:SHREGGETUSVALUE A

The third one involves Kodak Easy Share Software; Having trouble clearing out old version 2 and new version 3 and then the download doesn't finish. Error code 14x20x0

Any help on these problems would be appreciated.
A previous problem downloading Windows 98 without an interruption remains unsolved.

I have things going pretty good now, except I still have an interrupted Windows 98 Startup. A message about Symantec shows up, and then I have to click any key to continue. It's a nuisance. Mark and BillyBob have been a great help, and have had me delete all references to Symantec and Norton everywhere in the computer including HKEYS, Find, and systems ini.
I have also re-installed the Recovery CD. The problem continues. I have learned a lot about what is in the bowels of the computer.
Is there anything that I haven't tried?

What did you do?

 

On the Adobe Photo Deluxe, was finally able to correct the "missing export SHLWAPI.DLL" problem by finding the file and re-naming it SHLWAPI.old and renaming URLMON.dll Urlmon.old
Then was able to do a proper download. Got help from their forum.

On the Kodak Easy Share, I continued to try downloads until I was successful. A further compication involved a transfer of photos from the camera to the software, on which I was helped by the Kodak people.

I received lots of advice and help from this forum on my " Start Up Interruption" problem. Everything was focused on getting rid of all Symantec files. Somehow I was missing (Symevnt.386) from the Registry. When I finally found it and deleted it, the problem was solved.
Many thanks to this forum for all of the help.

My only glitch now is POGO. Seems to be a java problem along with an Internet Explorer problem. I've tried so many things to get POGO going that I've just given up.
