Resolved Phone numbers showing up in Firefox as "Skype" numbers

I tired to find this solution on the Skype web site but could not.

After loading Skype, all the phone numbers on my Firefox web pages show as a Skype link. Does anyone know how to change this so they show as normal phone numbers?

 

I know nothing about Skype, but is it you default mail client?

I have that to in firefox to I have not bothered trying to find how to change it other than delete skype

Just did some more checking at the top of Firefox browser on the right side I have the Skype Symbol I Clicked on it then the addon window apeared I unchecked turn number highlighting on

Good that tmarks figured out the problem.
In my case, I had to find out what VOIP is, in first place, Advanced Voice Mail, or whatever, and I gave up on that.
As tmarks stated, it appears that the Firefox addons can be managed. As a rule of thumb, if Tools|Addons has an Options button, the addon will be manageable. It depends on the addon.

Still, doing a Search for the term is extremely confusing. I, just, wanted to learn something, and came up rather empty handed.
