    Trial version of Pest Patrol found "com.com ". what is "com.com "?

    What exactly was found, a cookie? Or some other object, say a file or registry key?

    A few more details would help us offer a solution.

    Keep in mind, cookies are of no threat what so ever.

    I was a registry key, but I don't know the rest of the entry. I was not able to go on-line after installing Pest Patrol, so I immediately uninstalled it and was able to connect again.
