Has anyone used Pest Patrol to check for adware and spy ware? I have just ran both Adaware and Spybot and deleted all files identified as adware/spyware I ran an evaluation version of Pest Patrol and it found 34 files it claims are adware/spy ware. Of course, they want you to buy the software to delete the files. I don't know whether to trust this software. Maybe I'll follow their directions for manually removing the files. What do you think?

If you have Spybot and Adware installed, and then ran Pest Patrol, it is possible that it detected those two programs definition tables as the pests. Or they could be what those two programs have quarantined. What are the locations of these found pests?

I also have both SpyBot and Adaware,, and have tried Pest Patrol

It dindnt find much but with somethings goes a little deaper. No real need.. I could have found and manualy delete those keys but the way I figure it they are fixed enough and are properly stopmted on. there will always be leftovers in the registry.
on the other hand if it found something new the other hadnt I would invertigate .

Keep in mind Spybot is the most popular close in second place come's Adaware pulling up from(way) far behind is pest patrol
thats seams to be most peoples oppinion,,atleast its mine
    and fred langa's
(markp62 no it doesnt target what the others have fixed, well not here atleast)
