My yahoo email is always getting grayed email. I want to unsubscribe them, however the icon "Unsubscribe" is grayed, which means the hyperlink doesn't work at all.

    I hate them.

SPAMmers do not normally supply an "Unsubscribe" link. If there is one and you click it, you have just let them know that your email address is in fact valid and you are reading their SPAM. They will also now add you to their "Validated" email list that they can sell to other SPAMmers.

One way to get rid of a SPAMmer would be to physically hunt them down and hang 'em by the neck until dead.

    1) <-shrug-> Even Governments have trouble finding them. If you figure it out you could probably sell the idea for Big buck$. :)

    2) Gmail works great for me. Very rarely see any SPAM in my Inbox.

Legally, subscription email (bulk email) must contain the sender's name or business name, address, contact info and an unsubscribe link or unsubscribe instructions.

Bulk mail that doesn't do that is spam, i.e. illegal. Good luck!

Actually the second & third words of your OP is the key (Yahoo Mail). I have one solely for when I have to supply one to get free software, like Giveaway of the Day deals.

I get more spam in that single account than my other 7 combined, by a very wide margin. Not just spam as in junk emails, but plenty of those "I want to share my inheritance with you" offers. Once weekly, I log into the account to clean it up, one week I had over 700 spam emails just in my spam folder. This doesn't count the other 200 or so that their filters (if one can call it filtering) missed entirely.

Needless to say, that lady who quit Google to save Yahoo is doing a poor job at best. Cosmetics or eye candy on the home page are great, however beneath the surface, Yahoo is still the brand it's been for years. She should have stayed with Google.

If you want less spam, consider another service. Like SpywareDr mentioned, GMail does a fantastic job, especially considering it's free, & has tons of space. They also have another nice free feature, free calling in the US & Canada via Google Voice & Chat while logged in, a simple download is needed. No incoming calls though, everyone who uses the service shares the same phone number. Still, a great feature that can save your precious daytime cell phone minutes, or long distance charges on landlines.

Outlook Mail (formerly Hotmail) is also good, I can't recall the last time that spam entered my inbox.

AOL Mail is better than Yahoo, but not as good as GMail or Outlook Mail.

Did I mention that most all other email providers are better than Yahoo? That is, unless one loves to get spammed to death & risk opening emails that's malware loaded.
