Performance library status id corrupt

    I am attempting to install Windows 2000 sevice pack 2 and get the above error posted to wmiadap.log file. The system crashes and reboots. Is there any way of fixing this corruption or do I need to re instal windows 2000?

    What error(s) are posted to the event logs? Include source and error numbers.
