I am using Sandisk 8GB pen drive with my WIN7 OS from quite some time.

I tried to make my drive bootable using HP tools and used a lot of times for the boot purpose.

The problem started there after, earlier the Pen drive recognised less storage space.I formatted using HP Tools and it got rectified.

Now the Drive gets recognised but i can't use it or format it using either windows or HP tools.

Hi, have you run error checking, that may tell you if something is wrong with the drive.

From windows explorer, right click on the drive, click properties, tools, run error checking, check now.

I expect it has been formatted previously, but are there any of the Sandisk utilities left on it? If it uses the U3 software, it will have a special format.

What is the error message when you try to format? Try searching for it on the Sandisk website.

Ok, thanks for letting us know. It is good to hear the outcome, no matter which way it has gone.
