Using Interent Explorer and Adobe Reader 6., when I open a PDF file all is fine, but if I close it or hit the back button, my browser freezes up! This was not a problem until a few months ago (or at least I don't remember it being a problem).

    Hi fenian...

I recommend deselecting/uncheck the option to "Display PDF in Browser ". This will then open a PDF file in it's own window. We use this method at work. To make the change open Reader then clcik on "Edit" => then "Preferences ".

    Thanks
That took care of part of the problem, i.e. I open in a separate window, then if I go back to the browser and go to another web page, I am okay, but if I attempt to go to another web page after that, my browser closes. I run xp
