I just upgraded my Win98SE laptop to Win2000. I usually use this as my "guinea pig" for programs. I got it up and running until i hit a snag. I couldnt get my PCMCIA nic to work. Upon investigation i found that the were no drivers for the "PCMCIA MTD-0002 ". I treid gateway's site and not luck, searched the CD no luck.
    It's a gateway SOLO 2100, 150w/mmx, 4 gigs, 72mb..

**i cant search windows update on the laptop cause this is how i connect to the internet.

***i hastily added posted this topic. Now i can find the driver if i could only find out what company makes the PCMCIA controller in my laptop, i vagely remember it being cirrus-logic, but i dont want to take chances.
