Several months ago I disconnected my router and PCMCIA card. Recently I reconnected and found the router to work effectively. Ran all tests for router and can connect to browser with router wired to laptop. Then reinstalled PCMCIA card (Gigafast 11Mbps) and receive 2 messages: "network hardware is disconnected & media state disconnected ". Windows advises card "operating properly ".

I cannot understand what I did wrong to re-establish my wireless connection.

    Help - please.

    Thanks

    Try resetting the router.

Router reset more than once. All tests on router come up positive.
