PCI for Dell Small-form-factor.

Hi,

A mate of mine has a fairly new Dell PC, I think it's a C521.

I need to add a new PCI card WiFi card and there is one PCI slot on the motherboard - great!

However, the PC case is very narrow and the blanking plates on the back of the PC look way too small to take 'normal' PCI cards that I am used to.

Has anyone got any practical experience of this issue and can point in the direction of some advice.

I did ring Dell, and after spending 2 days being passed from pillar to post in India, I have given up on that route!!!!!!

Sorry to learn you have spent two days on this. Type low profile wireless PCI card into Google and have a ball.
