Hi all, I recently bought a PCI_Express card with 4 USB 3.0 slots but can't get it to work on my PC. (I know this card works as my friend has it fitted in his PC at this moment)

Once i have fitted the card in, the computer does not start. no beep or anything but the fan works!!! My PSU is 750Watt..

My MOBO is Foxconn N15235 Model P4M9007MB and has a 1X & a 16X PCI-Express slot. I have tried to check the version of the slots (I need V2) but seem unable to find them listed. I looked in Device Manager/System Devices to look at the version for these slots but they aren't even listed....I've googled for info on how to find the version number but most people seem to talk about the 16X slot for graphics cards...

Can any one tell me how i can get the computer to 'see' the two slots, or is my MOBO possibly faulty?

    Any help appreciated :O)

    Cheers, Martin

Running XP SP3, 4Gb Ram, and a **** slow processor lol
