Hi, I would like to hear some first hand opinions on the question of USB v Internal PCI (electrical interference) D-TV Tuner Cards.
I have been searching on Forums regarding this without getting any definite answers. From all accounts the older USB tuners have not the greatest reputation.
    Any one with experience

I have a HD-TV PCI card. I use a single to double adapter on the aerial that shares with the TV. It should have a proper splitter, but I can still get perfect HD if the connections are good. I have had no problems with electrical interference.

From what I have read, older USB TV tuners are OK if they can connect to an external aerial. If they had an "in-built" aerial the original technology was so-so. The technology for in-built aerials has improved a lot. I have not heard this related to electrical interference, but I expect it could be a factor.
