I am building a PC for my daughter using an ATX powered tower, P6LX-AP motherboard and Pentium II 333Mhz. I have installed Windows 2000 but when I SHUTDOWN the PC does not automatically power odd - it just comes up with a window stating "it is now safe to switch your PC off ". The motherboard docs suggest that it has auto power off but it doesn't seem to work. The tower was used in a previous system (different motherboard) which used to auto power off. Any suggestions?
