PC stops surfing when reaching a site

There is a Boxing (http://www.vivi.com) site that I have been on for about 4 years. I have never had problems with it in all the years I have logged in there (at least once daily). But for some strange reason, beginning yesterday, my computer stops surfing the site after 45 seconds. No refreshing, no links, nothing. I can scroll up and down the page but thats it. Not only that, I can't even surf the net at all. i have to close the browser and start over.

Now, I can go all over the net with no problems but as soon as I get there, I haev 45 seconds before things end. I run my connection wizard and it will still say I am online. I am also still able to open my documents but as for web surfing, forget about it.

Any advice would be MAJORLY appreciated. ( It's a fantasy boxing site and I have a World Title match Saurday!!! )

Hello Boz,

If you're running XP, try doing a System Restore to just prior to the problem.

If you're not famailiar with SR, type System Restore into Help & Support's search box.

FWIW, when I try the site, no problems and its remarkably free of ActiveX or tracking cookies.

Can you login?

Try emptying the cookies cache, I assume you keep the cookie for this site - getting rid of that and getting a new one may also help.
