Resolved pc or mouse freeze

    hi

    i have a winxp dell 5000 pc just few days ago it started to freeze rather 5 second freeze then normal for few min then start again freezes dont know how to stop this very enoying thought it becoase im playing a game or online
    but it happen on and offline so there got to be another reason st more in the afternoon then morning but has start in morning recently .

    The first thing I would check if possible is go into your BIOS and look for something like PC Health. Check and see if your computer is overheating, i.e. keep an eye on the temp of you cpu. If it risers and then stabilizes around well mine is 36c to 39c depending on how warm it is in my computer room and the ambient temp. of my case. I use a corsair H50 (water cooler) for my cpu. So your temps are more then likely higher. But is the temps are getting over 50c then it might be that your computer is overheating. If this isn't the case, then what or have you installed new drivers recently. I.E. mouse drivers if so try rolling them back too your last good drivers. It would also help if you would give more info on your computer such as cpu type, motherboard, OS and what updates that you have applied.

    hi again

    here best i can get on pc info

    i ran a driver prog tell me what not-updted
    (ati graphic ,SBlive24 sound ,hid-complainted , broadcom440x,10/100)

    i manage to update sound and graphic but couldnt do the others
    the freeze started this morning round 9 again . how do i check for bio temp
    i havent any program for that cant see it in the bio setup .

    sorry took long time to reply back just got pc back

    any ways thanke for help guys the pc guy said " it could be the bullgaurd blocking now and then the internet and some programs in the system " he gave a me name from microsoft that has a free program that doesnt take up ram or space .
