    Hi guys.
New to the forums here, and have come across an iritating problem!

I have recently formated my HD (200gb) installed the new ATI Radeon x1950 GFX card, and have a new 400W power supply.
Partitions on my HD are messed up:

    C Drive: HP_Recovery
    D Drive: Local Disk
    G Drive: Local Disk....

My main directory is on the G drive, but still my D drive has the windows setups etc...

Any help would be great to why my PC, randomly locks up every hour or so.

p/s... Notes above are just a random idea to what may be up, im not too hot on pc issues, so any help would be great :)

Hi and welcome to the BBS,
It appears to be a HP. I think the only way you will be able to reinstall is to use the HP method. If you find your model at the HP website, there should be links to "setup and install ".

If others here cannot help, there are forums at the HP website.

Looks like a specific setup problem with HP (and I might guess that you are using a retail version of Windows, whereas the HP computer will probably only work correctly using the HP recovery system).
