Is there a way to password protect either a floppy or Zip disc?

There used to be several good products around to do that job. Norton had "For your eyes only" (at least I think that was the name) but I don't think it is around any longer.

PGP can do file encription and I think the version you buy has the ability to do a floppy/zip disk as well. The free one is files-only as far as I know. Take a look Here

Maybe other products around but none I've messed with.

Of course you could always put the files in a zip wrapper and password protect that.

    Use WinZip

You can always create a Winzip archive and use the password option when you first create the archive, you can get the evaluation version of Winzip HERE
