My password manager doesn't work anymore. It doesn't ask me if I want it to remember user name & password. Hope there is a way to fix this. Thanks :)

    Peggy,

Are you still using Mozilla, and have you upgraded to 1.7.8?

Is the problem with every site, or only a specific site? If only a specific site, then the best thing to do is to log off the site, remove the password for the site, then log back in. Password Manager should then ask if you want to save the password for that site.

Yes, I still use Mozilla and I have 1.7.8.
It was for a specific site and followed you instruction and all if working now.
    Thank You very much.

    Peggy,
my password manager works fine for all websites, except WindowsBBS.
I have the check mark, all right, sometimes the username, but never the password. For other websites, I can see the username and the encrypted password, and I may have to select to enter. But that is a cookie matter. I
remove my cookies automatically every three days, so, every three days I am not entered automatically. But, NS8.01 has no problem, nor NS7.2. Only Mozilla1.7.8

I have found that the Mozilla password manager sometimes does not register at a few sites (My Yahoo being an example) but it still covers about 99% of the sites I visit.

My conclusion is that the password manager works fine, if most work correctly, but deleting the entry, as Ramona said is the only thing which comes to my mind.
And, by the way the password/username combination is no problem in Firefox.
I am getting to be pretty positive that the password and cookies are tied very closely.
