    Hello,

When I made my primary partition a few years back I didn't anticipate how many programs I would end up installing on my C drive, and now I'm getting system messages telling me I'm almost out of space. Is there any way to increase the C partition without deleting everything?

You will need to use third party software such as Partition Magic or Acronis Disk Director - it cannot be re-sized by Windows in Disk Management.

A backup of your data is strongly recommended before adjusting partition sizes.

I have edited your title to be more specific - without penalty :)

An alternative to adjusting the partition sizes is to move some things to another partition to give C: a bit of breathing room, such as music, pictures or movies. Future software installations could then also be redirected to reside on another partition. I have a Programs folder on 4 different partitions where new installations have been placed.
