I'm getting a new pc which has 500gb HD (Serial ATA RAID 0 Stripe - 2 x 250GB 7200rpm drives with DataBurst cache). Should I get them partitioned or just leave them as they are? What would be your suggestions as to how many partitions and what each partition might be used for? Many thanks for your help.

Just do a search in this BBS and see more info than you would ever need about partitions. Read all of them and find many opinions on how and why it should be done.

Partition strategy is in the eye of the strategist.;)

I would be more concerned about the Raid 0.
If one drive fails they both fail:eek:
