Recently I've noticed that when I open Outlook Express 6, and when my emails begin to download, that several of many messages will download and then the process will terminate, leaving others not downloaded. I then get a message that my server has unexpectedly terminated the connection, even though this is not the case since my broadband connection icon is indicating that all is well. When I click on 'Send/Receive' I eventually receive all the messages after one or two repeats of the above. Does this sound like a known problem with OE? Many thanks.

I've just installed Mozilla's Thunderbird email client (http://www.mozilla.org/products/thunderbird/). Now all my emails download quickly and without any problems. I wonder what the problem is with Outlook Express, nevertheless.
