I am running Windows XP Sp1. I keep getting an error message
when I use the search for files and folder's. It read's:

    Config-Parser error
    Error parsing "c:\WINNT\System 32\URT Temp\Config\Machine.
    Config.
    Parser returned error 0X80070003

Has anyone seen this type of error message?

start~run~sfc /scannow should hopefully fix the problem assuming you have a regular XP install CD or the necessary .cab files on the hard drive.

If you have system restore turned on, good idea to turn it off, do the sfc, reboot, and then re-enable system restore and force creation of a restore point.
