Was running PCPITSTOP and was informed I was using an old version of Paint Shop Pro and may run into problems. The recommended a free version similar to it but I can't remember what they suggested. Any help here would be appreciated.

Merry Christmas to all BBS Members.

    The Gimp ?

Personally if you're happy with PaintShopPro then stick with it, unless there are security issues (and I doubt there is) then why let software dictate what you have installed on your system.

Who cares what they say? You may not run into problems, so why bother?

Answering your own post or providing more info? :D

I'd never heard of paint.net (graphics isn't a particular interest for me) so won't comment on it, my original query still stands though. What do you think is wrong with PSP?

I am still using Paint Shop Pro version 7 on Windows 7, Windows XP & also used it on Vista. Not a single problem ever.
