i updated windows xp and after i updated my computer wouldnt go into windows it would just keep restarting itself it wouldnt even allow me in safe mode, so i booted it from the cdrom and repaired windows on the reboot after the repair i got this message "Limited Virtual Memory
Your system has no paging file, or the paging file is too small ". So i went to change the paging file and it says "Windows created a temporary paging file on your computer because of a problem that occurred with your paging file configuration when you started your computer. The total paging file size for all disk drives may be somewhat larger than the size you specified ", microsoft suggested i change the premissions in safe mode i did and same results, i also tryed changing the pagefile settings in regedit but no luck. any ideas?

    miked125 - Welcome to the Board :)

Have you tried to change the Pagefile settings via the conventional route of ....

Right click My Computer icon > Properties > Advanced > Performance - Settings button > Performance Options > Advanced > Virtual Memory - Change?

This thread has some bearing on your problem - especially the third from last on the second page ....
