The error that usually comes up when Internet Explorer 5.5 can not find a website now comes up every time I open IE 5.5. Every page has this error-- "This page can not be displayed ". I can not surf the web with IE 5.5 or open things like Aol Instant messanger or my Real Arcade. Every page says "This Page can not be displayed ". This is a new problem and I have no idea how to fix it.

I have windows 98 as OS and netscape 6.2 as main browser.

    Had this problem once and

Don't know if it'll help you, but I followed some advice from another board and reinstalled Dial Up Networking (add new connection) and it fixed my problem. I don't know why the DUN got messed up-just know it helped me and hope it might help you.

Do you by chance have ZoneAlarm installed? I was configuring mine then exited and got every "Page can not be displayed ". Looked down at my systray and I'd accidummily put the Internet lock "on ". Unlocked it. That was a momentary Deja Vu bad feeling!
