    Sorry to sound silly here but I cannot seem to find where you take ownership of a folder within xp Pro. Thanks again sir!!

    If you haven't done so, you need to disable simple file sharing in Folder Options, View tab.

    Then, right-click the file/folder, Properties, Security tab.

    Click Advanced.

    Click Ownership tab.
