I would really prefer it if you created a folder for hijackthis and moved it there
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\HijackThis.exe
    To
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\Hijackhtis\HijackThis.exe

If you have not done so, please run spybot and adaware
    Spybot search and destroy
    Ad aware personal form Lavasoft
You have some which should be easy to remove with any of a number of automated removal tools
    You also have a trojan
    Please download
    Mcafee stinger multivirus removal tool
    Install and run
    A Squared trojan remover
Download, install, update, scan and fix.

Check add/ remove programs for the following
    Zsearch ( http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/spyware.zsearch.html )
    Tvmedia ( http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/pest/pest.aspx?id=453075261 )

    e2give ( http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/spyware.e2give.html )
    Navisearch ( Bargain buddy / Bullseye network http://www.pchell.com/support/bargainbuddy.shtml )

    Adroar ( http://www3.ca.com/

    securityadvisor/pest/pest.aspx?id=453077256 )
    Mediamotor / popuppers ( http://castlecops.com/startuplist-6298.html )

How to boot to safe mode
    How to show hidden files
After that please boot to safe mode, with all other windows closed, run hijackthis , select the following entries if they exist and choose fix.
    R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {20EC3D2D-33C1-4C9D-BC37-C2D500688DA2} - C:\Program Files\TV Media\TvmBho.dll

    O4 - HKCU\..\RunOnce: [stoob2] C:\WINDOWS\System32\stoob2.exe

    Locate and delete these files
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\stoob2.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\suploads.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\AdRoar.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\ARUpdate.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\System32\nvms.dll

    Delete these folders
    C:\Program Files\TV Media

    http://www.pchell.com/support/bargainbuddy.shtml

Also, please verify that you do not have any of the other files listed here for Adroar , remove if found
    http://www3.ca.com/securityadvisor/pest/pest.aspx?id=453077256

Empty all Temp folders (delete all files within):

    C:\Documents and Settings\(profile)\Local Settings\Temp\
    C:\Windows\Temp\
    C:\Temp\ (if it exists)

Go to: Control Panel > Internet Options
General tab > Temporary Internet Files > Delete Files:
Checkmark "Delete all offline content "
    Click OK

Reboot to windows, clear system restore by disabling it at this point.
Turn off system restore. Go to control panel/ system / system restore =>stop using system restore do for all drives
Restart computer and reverse this action.

Run Hijackthis again to confirm that you are clean. Post the log if you are unsure.

Thanks for the info! ran spybot, adaware starts scanning then I get a popup that says, system shutdown initiated by nt authority\ system, rpc service terminated unexpectedly, it gives me a 1 min.countdown then restarts the 'puter. I tried it on deep scan and smart scan, any ideas or should I just continue down your list?

would just continue. one minute is time to start task manager (ctrl-alt-del and t if necessary) and terminate whatever is running to avoid the reboot.
