I have been using windows me and microsoft office 2000 for a while now with no problems, however for no aparent reason when i try to send an e-mail i get an error message:
"an error occured while attempting to open the windows adress book. unable to find wab.dll "
i used search for files or folders and found outlwab.dll in the c:\windows\system folder. Is this the windows adress book and is it in the correct place?
i can recieve e-mail with no problem and use other aspects of outlook ok but keep getting the error message when i send mail.
I have run repair and detect with microsoft office origional cd-rom but it tells me no changes have been made.
    any help would be appreciated.

    Hi steveterrington
    Welcome to the boards!
I'm a little confused? Are you using Outlook, or Outlook Express?
What version of IE are you running?
    Did this just start happening?

    Found this?

    Hi daizy,thanks for replying
I am using microsoft outlook, not outlook express and ie version 5.50.
this problem just occured today .
I havent installed/deleted any programmes lately and I have run a virus check on my hard drive.
I have also removed then reinstalled the whole of microsoft office
    but to no avail.
I think the problem is that either my windows adress book has somehow moved from where it ought to be or that outlook is looking in the wrong place!!
