Outlook Timeout

I'm currently using Outlook (Office 97).

When receiving a large email which takes time to download via my broadband connection, my Outlook always give me timeout error.

It there anyway to set the timeout for Outlook?

I use Outlook Express and wonder if this setting is the same with Outlook. Try this:

TOOLS/ACCOUNTS/PROPERTIES/ADVANCED. Change the timeout time to a longer time.

I'm also wondering if maybe your ISP has a limit on size for incoming mail. You may want to check with them and then make another adjustment in the same area as above by breaking the incoming mail into pieces as it comes in. If this is too confusing, holler back! We'll keep trying until we get this fixed for you!
