Outlook Task programme keeps reformatting saved tasks

Hello,
Have used Outlook Tasks for many years in Windows 7 and had no problems.
Now have updated to Windows11 and have found that when we format a task and save it, sometimes, when opening some tasks they have lost all the formatting
For example, using colours to highlight text goes back to black and using dots to bring text into line etc the dots have disappeared and text all bunched up etc.
Any help please
