Outlook Slow to reply? any ideas

    Help out there - I have Outlook 2003 and it works great. I only have one problem with it.
    It starts up quickly and sends and recieves as fast as it should. But when I "reply" to an email (that is, when I click the reply button) sometimes it takes 10 or more seconds to open up WORD and get it on screen.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

    BTW, I didnt notice the Sticky Note about Outlook vs Outlook Express until after I posted

    Nothing you can do about that... other then not to use Word as email editor.

    Tools > Options - Mail Format tab. Uncheck the Use Microsoft Office Word 2003..... options.
