We have used Netscape mail for many years and it offered one advantage to me. We have used the same ISP for many years and only a single email address was offered for the family at the time. We have no wish to change this now. In Netscape, I could make the email inbox folder the same for everyone, even over our home network. I would like to switch to Outlook but (1) how do I handle one address for the whole family and (2) can Outlook work over a network? Thanks!

Outlook or Outlook Express? They do things a little differently.

Both email programs are fine on a network.

Do you really want to use a common inbox or just to have all inbound mail go to each person's (computer's)inbox?

It's Outlook Express and yes, I want all the mail to go to each persons inbox and yet no to be deleted for all if deleted by one person. Also to not leave all the mail on the server at all times and overload the outbox (to me) on the server and work over the home network. Netscape, by desinating a single inbox on one hard drive of one machine from each (all) users from every machine did just this for me (except the delete part) in an easy to set up fasion. Whew, that's alot! I feel sure these issues have been addressed by the writers of the software but I don't know how to set it up and make it work. The online help is of no practical use at all. It gives no clue as to how the program actually works. Thanks, sorry about the long post but this is somewhat complex.
