   I can't sent messages through outlook from my house but can recieve. If I plug in at work I can do both send and recieve. Is there a setting I missed or should it work automatically?

   Your Home ISP won't allow you to send mail through your office's outgoing SMTP ISP's information...It's called "spoofing. "
   
   You can change the SMTP info to match your Home IPS account information...You'd have to change it back when you're at the office.
