    Hello all,

I'm trying to install Office XP(2002) Standard on my XP Prof (sp2) laptop. The setup proceeds normally except the list of items to install has OUTLOOK greyed-out. I cannot seem to override this. This laptop has a trial version of OFFICE2003 already installed but I have not "enabled" this. I'm hoping to use my slightly older version instead of buying 2003. If I proceed with the install I'll only get Excel, Word and PPT.

    Any ideas?? Thanks

    Jim C.

That could well be the problem - just a guess :)

    Outlook not available for install

    Thanks,

I guess I could totally remove the trial 2003 version and try my install again.
If that fails maybe I'll purchase OUTLOOK in a standalone version.
