outlook inbox contact question

Hi all--

All of a sudden when I enter a new contact in Outlook 98 it accepts it, but it doesn't show up when I go to a new message and click the "to" button. I can create a new message for this contact from contacts, but not from new mail.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software a couple of times.

Everything else seems to be fine. My old contacts work, etc, but any new ones are not showing up in the list when I do a new message. I'm on a W98 OS.

Sound like you have to tell it to use your contacts for addresses. I not sure whick version your using but look up address book and changing and select contacts.

That put me on the right track and I was able to fix it. Thanks for the suggestion...seems so obvious now!
