Outlook Express Workaround

I've been using the OE workaround when swithching indentities and having OE shut down. Either rebooting or a faster solution by using task manager and deleting the mismn.exe line, you will get the OE to open. Has there been a permanent fix for this yet? I also get some jumping of the selection when making a change of identities when putting in the password and have to go 2 or 3 times before it stays.

Do you have all the latest Windows Updates installed, especially the Comprehensive IE Update? (As you know IE and OE are closely related.)
