    I use Windows XP SP2.
Is there a way to make Outlook Express e-mail to open .EML files? I think this a Thunderbird e-mail file.
Also will Windows Media Player 11 play .EML files if the file is a video file?
    Thanks,
    db810

    db810 - Welcome to the Board :)

A *.eml file is the standard OE file and should open in OE.
It cannot be a video file, such files would need to be sent as an attachment to an email.

Outlook Express will not open a .EML file

    Thanks for the help.
I followed the directions on the Microsoft website and got the .EML file to open up in Outlook Express. Since this is a video file, now it won't play though on Windows Media Player or Real Player. Windows Media Player says it doesn't support this file and Real Player says it can't locate the software to play the video file.
So, I downloaded Thunderbird e-mail program and I had my brother send me the .EML file again. The file opened up and started to play on Window Media Player as a .WMV file. GO FIGURE!
At last I got to see the video.
    Thanks for the help,
