    Maybe . . .

    this will help you.

On the OE toolbar (where the Reply - Reply All - Forward buttons live just below File - Edit - View, etc.) right-click on some empty space out there on the right end and then click on 'Customize' in the drop down.

In the left pane scroll down until you find "Copy to" and "Move to ". Select them one at a time and add them to the right pane which will put them on the toolbar. Then when you have an e-mail you want to keep without having it reside in your Inbox forever, you can select it and click on "Move to" or "Copy to" on the toolbar and save it in a new folder that you can create in Outlook Express under 'Local Folders'. Name the new folder anything you care to, like "Keepers ", "Luvletters ", " 'Portant Stuff ". . . well, you get the drift.

There may be another way to do this without having to put them into a different program but I'm not aware of it. HTH :)

    :) BTW, LWB169 - Welcome to WindowsBBS !! :D

Edit #2: After checking out Daizy's post below, my suggestion qualifies as a "Save ", not a backup. After reading all of that stuff, I think I'll continue using the 'Print' button and my trusty 3-ring notebook as a 'backup' !.

    Hi Daizy :) ;)
