Does anyone know why when I send a link to someone sometimes it is sent via Outlook express and other times it's sent through Microsoft Outlook? Outlook express is my email program of choice. I can't seem to find a rhyme or reason for this. Thank you for your thoughts.

In Internet Explorer, go to Tools>Internet Options>Programs tab and make sure Outlook Express is selected in both the Email and Newsgroups fields and that Address Book is selected in the Addresses field.

If you make any changes there, be sure to click "OK" to close the options window to save the changes.

That's not the problem. I've been wondering about this for months. It's irritating because if something I email brings up Microsoft Outlook to send it, I have to minimize everything and open the program to actually send the email.

Okay, try this. It seems unrelated and I don't know why it works but it does (99% of the time):

Right click the Task Bar, go to Properties>Start Menu>Customize>General tab, in the "Show on Start Menu" area choose Outlook Express in the Email field, click OK.

The other option is if you don't use Outlook, uninstall it.
