hello I just finished installing a ethenet card and hooked up to some high speed, everything seems to work fine except for my Outlook express. When I click to open my mail at the top of my Browser, Outlook will open, then it tells me im mot connected to the internet and a DIAL UP box(I have high speed now?) pops up wanting to connect me, even though I am connected DSL. I am using windows XP for a o/s. thanks

This probably belongs in the IE/OE forum.

In your browser, tools, internet options, connections, put a checkmark in "never dial ".
If that doesnt work, In OE, try going to tools, options, connections, "shares with IE ", click change, and put a checkmark in "never dial "..
