I am having problems with my Outlook Express Mail. It has been down the whole week end. States unexpected server failure. I recently installed Slim Browser and the Zone Alarm ... would there be any connection between this and my Outlook Express acting up. Tonight it is working again. I did find an error on my C drive and corrected it through the Systems Works. Thank you for your help if anyone has any ideas..

Is it possible that your ISP mail server was down? If your ISP has web based access also, whenever I can't get OE to work, I check via web and see if its the server or OE..

sunrae--If the problem started immediately after installing Zone Alarm, it could be you have not configured ZA to permit OE (msimn.exe) access to the web.
However, with the error message you report I suspect, as aleekat, ISP server problems. Can you call your ISP?
