When I try to use Spell Check in OE6, I get an Outlook Express error box that says "An error occurred while the spelling was being checked" - with no other information.

I recently installed MS Office 97 on my relatively new Dell XP computer. I was under the impression that the OE Spell Check was tied to MS Word. The spell check function worked OK on my old 98SE unit. Not a huge problem but I don't want to have to learn to spell better. Any ideas as to what I might try? I found some "add-on" spellcheckers available through a Google search and a search of this forum, but I would prefer to fix the problem if I can do so.

    Jim,
Thanks for the input. All is well now. It is working great but I didn't really need a spellcheker.

The Tech Pro site leads you through the process of finding the needed file through the XP files and/or discs, but they also had a link for downloading and installing which I opted to use. Was much quicker and easier. Thanks so much.
