After I compose an email in Outlook Express, then hit send, a Windows Installer pops up and I have to hit cancel in that popup before OE sends the mail.
    I have WinXP Pro SP2. IE7, OE6.
This has also happened in other applications which do not come to mind at the moment.
    Thank you.

    Hello Ol Man,

    What's it trying to install?

Before you use the MS cleanup tool, make sure you either set a manual System Restore point or backup the registry.

    Regards - Charles

Welshjim, no results with the Cleanup utility. However, after reading charlesvar's post, I went ahead and let the installer run. It was looking for a file to Microsoft Office 2003. After inserting my Office disk and letting the installer do its thing, all seems well so far. Thanks for your help.

Thanks, Bill... although I don't have Picture It installed, my problem has been taken care of by letting the installer run it's course. It was looking for an Office 2003 file on the installation CD..
