I'm talking to a friend on the phone who is having an issue with his Outlook Express. The PC is running Windows XP home edition. The outlook version is 6.00.2800.1106.

All I know is this...someone sends them an email with an attachment. They view the email but are having a problem looking at or saving an attachment. They have this exact error message: "OE removed access to the following unsaved attachment in your mail: picframe.ZIP ".

They have no "paperclip" icon to try and view or save the attachment.

Now, I get them to forward me this email...I get the email..the attachment is there...I can detach it, whatever.

Any idea on what's going on with their OE?

    As usual...thank you.

In OE click tools>options>security. Uncheck the line that says "do not allow attachments to be saved...... "
