After a HD crash I have reinstalled Win XP Pro and downloaded all the many patches including SP-2. My browser is IE-6 and e-mail is OE-6. Prior to crash I was using the same two programs and when I clicked on a link it would change from blue to red indicating I had accessed it. That is not happening now. I've looked thru tools/Internet Options etc and nowhere do I seem to find a fix for this. Any thoughts ? Thanks.

RickyD2--I understand you are having no problems opening a link, but just want the color to change when you have opened one. Click IE Tools|Internet Options|General tab|Colors.
However, I will not guarantee that the settings will always produce the colors you have chosen. :)

Also, In IE, make sure your history isn't set to zero days. One more thing. On some web pages the color is specified by the code in the page so they may not be the color you want on all pages. This sight is probably one of those. The links I click on when I view this site never change color . My guess is it's due to the code. I'm sure somebody will point it out soon enough if it's not though. :)
