A friend of mine recently contacted me asking for help on this issue. I don't use Outlook Express so had no answer to give her. Perhaps one of you has run across this...

Her father is having trouble with his printer. It prints properly in all applications except Outlook. He has suddenly seen it start printing everything in red in Outlook Express only. (Sorry, but I have no details about his system. Since it's only happening in Outlook I'm jumping to the conclusion that the printer is set up properly and the OS is not corrupted.) I would assume there is a way to CHANGE text to red, but to do it in ALL messages without making the change each time is a new one on me! Is there a registry setting that may have gotten hosed? A setting in Outlook that he may have accidently changed? Has anyone heard of this happening before? Any ideas would be appreciated.

I'm not a regular here so if possible please send replies to:

Thanks in advance for any help. ;)

While in Outlook Express, click on tools/options/compose/fonts settings. Look and see what color is selected and change it to whatever you wish.

Surely it can't be that simple! :)

We'll give it a try and see what happens. Thanks!
