I'm traveling and am in North Africa now. I am accessing the net from the hotel's paid BB connection.

While I am able to receive incoming mails, I am unable to send any mail from all of my three mail accounts. The error message below

"The connection to the server has failed. Account: xxxxx, Server: 'smtp.xxxx', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error: 10051, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E "

I tried disabling my anti-virus, setting the internet IP address and DNS server to automatic, restarting my computer, cleaning the cache (CCleaner) etc. but still no go.

Is the hotel BB connection blocking my outgoing mails ?

AFAIK you can only send mail from your ISP - you are connected to another. The solution is to use your ISP's web mail facility.

Or you can change your SMTP setting to match the Hotle's ISP.

Try setting the Outgoing Server (SMTP) port to 587.

If your home ISP has their mail serer accepting mail on that port you'll be able to send that way.

    Not all ISP's support this.
